Eglinton Barn & Yard, Glenarm

In collaboration with Nigel Jones Architects Ltd and Ramage Architecture Ltd (www.ramage-architecture.co.uk), Coracle were appointed by Mid and East Antrim Borough Council to develop the design for a new multi-purpose events space in a former lime works and attached courtyard prominently located in the historic village of Glenarm’s harbourside. The proposal includes improved public access into the courtyard from the village, new hard landscaping and two elegant new timber-framed open-sided pavilions within the historic limestone walls of the courtyard and a new community meeting pod with accessible WCs. Full Planning Approval was granted for the proposal in April 2024.
